FAQs

How do I order?
Shop for the items you want and add it to your shopping cart. When you are finished, you can proceed to your shopping cart and then check out. Please check and ensure that all information is correct before confirming your purchases and payment.

I have problems adding items to my shopping cart
You will be able to add the items as long as it is available. There could be an instance where the item is in someone else’s shopping cart hence the status of the items is reflected as “Temporarily Unavailable”. Should you wish to order an item which is not available, please send us a mail to hello@eightshop.eu

How do I pay for my orders?
We accept payments via Paypal and all major credit and debit cards such as Mastercard, VISA, and American Express.

Can I amend and cancel my order?
Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel an order once it has been placed. This will allow us to pack your orders efficiently and to minimize errors. It is advisable to check your order before placing it.

I have a discount code, how can I use it?
Key in the voucher code at the field “Voucher Code” and click “Add” in your Shopping Cart page before proceeding to check out. Please note that we are unable to manually apply the voucher code to your order if you have missed keying it in during check out. Kindly ensure that all information is correct before confirming your purchase.

How will I know if my order is confirmed?
After you have placed your order, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail from us to confirm that your orders have been received. However, do note that orders will only be shipped when your credit card payment has been approved and billing and delivery address is verified.

When will my order be processed?
All orders will be processed within 2 working days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Time stated is based on Central European Time (CET).

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
The Standard courier delivery time frame is approximately 2-5 working days from the time of placing your order. This is applicable only to all European deliveries. For all other international deliveries, the time taken is dependent on our logistics partners and their affiliates.

How can I track my delivery?
Once the order has been dispatched, an email confirmation will be sent to you with the tracking number. You may check and track the delivery status of your orders with our local logistics partner, with your Order Number for all deliveries.

What are the shipping charges like?
Please check the shipping fees based on Standard courier (calculated on a per item basis, eg. 2 scooters would be calculated as 2 items). For international deliveries, you may select your item and proceed to the check out page as charges are based on weight and volume. Upon entering your delivery details, we will auto calculate the delivery charges based on your given address without the need for payment or registration.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been confirmed?
Unfortunately, we are unable to redirect orders once your order is confirmed. Therefore, please ensure you provide the correct shipping address.

There is a missing item in my order, what should I do?
We apologize for sending you an incomplete order. Please contact our Customer Care Team at hello@eightshop.eu and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I’ve received a defective item, what should I do?
We sincerely apologize if you have received a defective item from us. Please contact our Customer Care Team at hello@eightshop.eu with a clear and proper snapshot of the product and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

I’ve received an incorrect item, what should I do?
We sincerely apologize for sending you the wrong item. Please contact our Customer Care Team at hello@eightshop.eu and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I’ve purchased the wrong size or color
We do not provide exchanges for size or color. We do, however, accept a return of products purchased from us. You can refer to our Returns & Exchanges policy here and its procedures.

I have not received my parcel, what should I do?
Kindly drop us an email to our Customer Care Team at hello@eightshop.eu if you have not received your parcel within 10 working days and we will assist you accordingly.

Will there be an additional charge for redelivery?
There are no additional charges for redelivery up to one time.

I have yet to receive my parcel within the stipulated time frame. Whom can I contact?
You may check the status of your parcel via “Track your order” at to find out why it might have been delayed. Alternatively, you may drop us an email at hello@eightshop.eu and we will assist you further.

Where am I allowed to ride the e-Scooter?
You will have to check your local laws, in some countries inside EU they are legally seen as „bicycles” in other countries you are only allowed to drive on private property etc. Please check your local laws as we are not liable for any usability.

Is the price inclusive of import taxes and duties?
Inside EU, our prices include all import taxes and duties which are prepaid by us. You do not have to pay any additional charges or fees, just sit back and wait for your parcel to arrive at your door-step. Outside EU you may have to pay additional import taxes and duties.

How well and how safe does the scooter perform in rain?
Stryder EX has a waterproof rating of IP54 which means it is splash-proof. Riding in the rain for up to 10 minutes should not affect the electronics (ensure your charging port cover is properly sealed!).
Our 8-inch rubber composite tires with wide profile provide good traction, even on wet surfaces. However, we recommend users to avoid prolonged riding and to slow down in rain for safety reasons.

How long does it take to charge my scooter?
It takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge if the battery is completely empty.

How long can the tires last?
Depending on the rider’s weight and the terrain conditions rode on, our tires are rated to last for 2000km-4000km before you require a tire change. However, this is only an estimate and riders should check on their tires profile after every 250km of riding.
If you find that your tires are worn out, please change your tire for better traction and safety.

My tires are worn out! Where can I buy replacement tires and is it easy to change them?
The tires can be found and bought here. Changing of the rear wheel is very simple and only requires a 5mm Allen key. Changing of the front tire requires a few more steps, please check our video on how to replace your front tire.

What is the scooter’s warranty?
Inside EU we offer a 2-year limited warranty on the Stryder which covers the electronics such as the motor, display screen, and controller. We offer a standard 6-months warranty on the LG battery.

What is the lifespan of the battery?
Stryder uses a high-performance lithium ternary battery that is rated for up to 500 charge cycles.

How long will it take to ship my scooter?

What is the range of the scooter?
Zoom Stryder EX can last around 25-30km in one full charge.
This figure is real-life tested and based on a rider’s weight of 65kg riding under Eco mode and average speed of 15km/h on flat terrains. Your range may vary depending on your weight, riding speed, wind, terrain conditions (eg. slopes will consume more power) and environment temperature.

What is the safe operating temperature range for Zoom Stryder?
Stryder has a safe operating temperature range between -20 °C to 40 °C.
